Health Tip: Yummy Green Smoothies!


Need an easy and delicious way to get tons of vitamins and nutrients without taking supplements? If you’ve got a blender, try this health fix by making an easy green smoothie.

Don’t be scared by the color or the idea of drinking greens! Here’s the basic formula, (with amount to taste):
Fruit + leafy green + water/ice = Green smoothie 

A good starter recipe is to use bananas with spinach. Why these two? Because these ingredients are easily available in Geneva, and banana has a sufficiently strong flavor that spinach blends well into. If you’re feeling more adventurous, combine different or exotic fruits and greens, such as cherries and mango with kale (And if anyone knows where to find Kale in Geneva, please let us know!). Try it for yourself!
PS:  In the absence of kale, use the green leaves of beets.  They look a little different but carry the same great flavor of kale!
