Nhien grew up in California, where she obtained a BA in Psychology. In 2006 she moved to Geneva to pursue graduate studies in international affairs. After an accident in 2008 left her with chronic pain, she discovered the benefits of yoga and other healing practices for her recovery. She strongly believes in community and is passionate about music, health, human rights, and veganism.
